The Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Week 11, with a final score of 20-19, thanks to a blocked field goal attempt in the final seconds.
The win extended the Packers’ dominance over Chicago, marking their 11th straight victory—a new franchise record for consecutive wins in the series. Over the past 10 matchups, Green Bay has outscored Chicago 286 to 159, extending its dominance in the all-time series between the two teams. Since 2010, the Bears have struggled against the Packers, winning just four of their last 29 meetings.

Without question, the final play of the day will be the thing that lives in fan memory. With time running out, the Bears had a chance to steal the game, driving into position for a 46-yard field goal attempt by reliable kicker Cairo Santos, who had already connected on kicks from 53 and 27 yards.
But in a dramatic turn of events, second-year defensive lineman Karl Brooks leaped to block the kick, preserving the Packers’ slim lead and securing the win in the final moments.
But that wasn’t the only thrilling moment in the game. Earlier, quarterback Jordan Love gave Green Bay the lead back with a crucial play, scrambling to his right and diving for the pylon. Initially ruled out at the 1-yard line, the Packers challenged the call, but it was upheld. On the very next play, with first-and-goal from the 1, Love powered his way into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown.
After a failed two-point conversion, Green Bay held a 20-19 lead with 3:12 remaining—leaving just enough time for Caleb Williams to mount one final drive and fruitlessly attempt to end the Bears’ long losing streak to the Packers.

Another key moment in the game: wide receiver Christian Watson made an incredible diving catch and run, which was upheld after a Bears challenge. The play gave him 150 receiving yards in the game and put the Packers right back in the red zone.
After a review, the call stood, marking a 60-yard catch and run for Watson. He leaped to grab a pass from Love, got up, and sprinted all the way to the Chicago 14-yard line with 3:40 remaining. It all came down to Green Bay’s red-zone offense, which had struggled against the Bears throughout the game.
