Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-110) FanDuel

With 10 rushing touchdowns in nine games this year, Jalen Hurts would be a near-automatic ATTD bet even at much shorter odds. Seeing him listed at nearly even money in this market brings a couple questions come to mind:
- 1) What are we missing?
- 2) Is it better to bet on Hurts ATTD or to take a higher-upside swing on Hurts 2+ TDs?
Over the last four weeks, Hurts has scored an absurd eight rushing TDs, with at least two apiece against the Giants, Bengals and Jaguars. In Week 9 against Jacksonville, he picked up 67 yards and a TD on 13 carries, and that might have been his worst day on the ground over the last four weeks.
Hurts — who ran for 10, 13 and 15 TDs, respectively, in 2021, 2022 and 2023 — is well on his way to a career-high in rushing TDs despite the offseason retirement of Jason Kelce, who played a massive part in Hurts’ outstanding success on the tush-push.
That part of the Eagles offense hasn’t missed a beat with Cam Jurgens snapping the football instead of Kelce, and until we see opposing defenses consistently stop this play, it’s going to remain a staple for Philadelphia.
The matchup against Washington provides all the more reason to like Hurts. The Commanders have allowed 10 rushing TDs this year, and coach Dan Quinn’s defense is 29th in the NFL in yards per rush allowed at 4.9.
The Washington run D, which hasn’t been great all year, is also trending in the wrong direction: in the last five weeks, Washington has given up at least 140 yards on the ground four times.
Between the tear Hurts has been on in the red zone recently and the Washington defense’s struggles up front, we’re in on not only Hurts ATTD, but Hurts 2+ TDs.

As tempting as it is to just spend everything we want to invest in the ATTD market in this game on Hurts, there must be other quality bets for us, right?
On the Washington side, the top scoring threats — besides star rookie QB Jayden Daniels, of course — have been WR Terry McLaurin (six receiving TDs) and RB Brian Robinson Jr. (six rushing TDs).
The latter has our attention on TNF despite missing three games this year, including Washington’s last two with a hamstring injury. Robinson Jr. has been a force in the red zone, scoring in five of his seven starts, and he’ll be active on Thursday night for the first time since his team’s memorable win over Chicago back in Week 8.
In addition to sitting the last two weeks, Robinson missed his team’s loss to Baltimore, but he scored in every game he started from Weeks 3-7.
Alongside Daniels, who is already one of the best running QBs in the league, Robinson has been effective both inside and outside the red zone this year, with an average of 4.6 yards per carry.
The Eagles have not allowed many rushing TDs this year (a total of six, to be exact). But with Philly likely to try and emulate Pittsburgh, which limited Daniels to 5 yards rushing on just three carries in a close win by the Steelers last Sunday, there should be some rushing lanes for Robinson in the red zone.
He’s a bit of a risk coming off a hamstring injury, but we like him as much as anyone on the Commanders to find the end zone in this game.
