Aaron Rodgers shares surprising family update after reconciling with parents: ‘Never again’

Aaron Rodgers said he’s “never again” posting another family update after reconciling with his familyfollowing years of estrangement.

The NFL quarterback made headlines last month when he posted photos of him spending time with his parents, Ed and Darla, as well as his older brother, Luke, to Instagram. But he told USA Today Sports in an interview published Wednesday that it was a one-time deal.

“There’s been a narrative out there,” he said, referencing all the talk about their strained relationship over the years. “There’s not been a lot of information that’s truthful about it. And I think that the personal life should stay personal and private.”

“But I feel like it was part of the full-circle to just one time post something, and never again,” he added. “So that that narrative can finally be put to rest.”

Aaron, 42, credited his super-private wife, Brittani, for reuniting him with his family in an interview with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt over the weekend.

“I’m happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit for — not that she was pushing me because she never was — but just the way she loves and supports me, having her by my side throughout this process has been really special and I miss those relationships,” he reflected.

“It’s been really beautiful to reconnect with them — all of them,” he also shared. “I got to spend a long weekend recently with my parents … my brother and his sweet wife and their incredible two kids. I got to be an uncle.”

Noticeably missing from the reunion was Aaron’s younger brother, “Bachelorette” alum Jordan Rodgers. The Super Bowl winner hinted that he perhaps has still not made amends with Jordan in an interview with the Athletic published Monday.

Aaron explained that he managed to keep the details of their feud under wraps, while other unnamed family members publicly aired out their dirty laundry.

“I’ve been really staunch, going back to when there was a schism, that I feel like that stuff should be off limits,” the Pittsburgh Steelers star said.

“Now, not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing,” he continued. “But there are different things, situations, experiences, and people that actually change your life.”

In 2016, Jordan, 37, spoke about his family’s estrangement from Aaron on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette,” when he said on-camera that the professional athlete had removed himself from their family.

“Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship,” he shared at the time. “It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life, and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother.”
