Live with Kelly and Mark is giving all the emotions this Halloween.
As the syndicated daytime talk show gears up for its annual Halloween special on Thursday (Oct. 31), DECIDER has an exclusive look at one of their spooky season spoofs: A take on Disney’s Inside Out.
Pictured are executive producer Michael Gelman, co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, and announcer Deja Vu, who take on a hilarious rendition of the beloved animated film, whose box office-breaking sequel premiered in theaters in June.
Borrowing its name from the Hulu hit Only Murders in the Building, Live‘s Only Halloween in the Building special will feature more than 40 costumes, skits, music, dancing, and singing, with a slew of surprises and celebrity guests in store, as well.
The show has already commenced its countdown to Halloween, with last-minute costume ideas, tips and tricks. The week’s guest lineup includes Jason Derulo, Robin Wright, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Keri Russell, Joey Fatone, Julianna Margulies and Jackie Tohn.
Just as fans of the show will remember from years past, the Live team promises parodies of prime pop culture moments, including celebrity couples, sports scenes and horror film favorites. The show is also continuing its annual audience costume contest, with a share of prizes worth more than $5,000 on the line.
As teased in the trailer above, this year’s special episode marks the show’s last in their “home of nearly four decades,” as they “prepare to head to a brand new studio” and “bid a fond farewell to a history of horror and celebrate a tradition of terror.”
Live with Kelly and Mark airs on weekdays. Only Halloween in the Building airs on Thursday, Oct. 31. Check out their website for your local listings.
