Tom Holland is not just Zendaya’s costar-turned-boyfriend, he’s also her bodyguard.
On October 24, the 28-year-old actor was forced to step in when the Euphoria star was swarmed by paparazzi…at least that’s how it looks in multiple videos currently going viral on social media. In one video shared by photographer Jackson Lee, Holland appears to walk ahead of Zendaya before turning around and physically pushing through a crowd of photographers that had circled around her while she signed some autographs for fans.
“What a gentleman,” Lee captioned the video, a sentiment many of the commenters agreed with. “Who needs bodyguards when you are dating Spiderman,” one user commented. Another noted that Lee was technically part of the “hoard.”

This specific shade is fast becoming autumn’s defining hue.
In separate video going viral on TikTok, one photographer could even be heard telling the actor, “it’s okay, Tom,” as he escorts his partner out of the fray. Is it?! As one commenter wrote, “I felt super claustrophobic just watching this. he probably felt extreme panic and anxiety at that moment.” Meanwhile, Zendaya seems unruffled, as ever, seeming to mouth her own assurance to Holland as her paid security guard attempts to control the situation.
For the most part, fans swooned over the actor’s protective instincts, throwing around plenty of Spider-Man references. “His Spidey sense kicked all the way in. He do not play about her and I love it,” one fan commented on the TikTok post. Another wrote, “Oh he went through SWINGING for her. I love that.” We get it! He’s Spider-Man!
Anyway, Tom Holland wasn’t the only one going viral for an act of love on October 24. Earlier in the day, Zendaya was photographed wearing a BERO hat in honor of the non-alcoholic beer company founded by Holland. Clearly, they have each other’s backs.
