Jimmy Kimmel called out Donald Trump for once again sharing a “made up story” about the few times he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
During a recent broadcast of Live, Kimmel shared clips from a appearance Trump recently made on the Fullsend Podcast in which he called the late night host a “loser” and briefly spoke about his experience appearing on the show before he went into politics. “I’d do Jimmy Kimmel, I did him a lot,” Trump said on the podcast, which Kimmel responded to with raised eyebrows.
“You may be confusing me with Stormy Daniels,” Kimmel joked.
He also clarified that Trump has certainly not appeared on the show “a lot,” as he claims.
“We’ve been on almost 22 years, you’ve been on three times. Mike The Situation from Jersey Shore has been on more times than you. But go on,” he fired back.
Trump later claimed, “[Kimmel] used to greet me on the sidewalk outside of his studio. This was before politics, of course. But I’d come in and he’d be standing on sidewalk, [saying], ‘Oh sir, can I bring you in?’ And he’d bring me in every time.”
Kimmel was quick to debunk this claim with a rant of his own.
“And by every time, he means no times,” Kimmel said. “He loves telling this made up story. Never did I ever stand on the sidewalk to greet Donald Trump or any guest.”
He continued, “The only time I’ve ever walked out on the sidewalk for Donald Trump was to urinate on his star on the Walk of Fame.”
Despite their differences, Kimmel invited Trump back onto the show, but on one condition: He take a cognitive test.
“If he wants to come back and accept the invitation that I made last night, that he take a cognitive test against Kamala Harris, I will for sure roll out the burnt orange carpet and go meet him on Hollywood Drive,” Kimmel declared.
Trump has been railing against Kamala Harris’ recently released medical records on social media, but has failed to release his own.
Kimmel has been counting down the days till the election on Live by roasting Trump, whether that be by making fun of his marriage or pointing out some of his most controversial moments from before he became a politician.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
