Amazon’s October Prime Day is now underway, and it’s full of great deals. One that I suspect sports fans may appreciate seeing is the 39% off sale happening on EA Sports College Football 25, Electronic Art’s much-anticipated return to NCAA football — the first in a decade. This big price cut is the title’s first discount yet. You can snag a copy for $42.99 for Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. Before Prime Day kicked off, the title was marked down to $47.99, so your patience has been rewarded if you managed to wait.
Our review of the game has plenty of nice things to say about it. College Football 25 encapsulates the spectacle and drama of NCAA football, and for the first time, it includes both names and likenesses of real college players. One interesting fact about EA’s commitment to making this the most complete college football game yet, straight from our review: “Electronic Arts paid for the real licenses to over 11,000 college athletes, in what EA Tiburon developers claim is the largest depiction of real people in a video game… maybe ever. Certainly in a sports video game.”
Returning to this series might feel like slipping on some old favorite shoes you haven’t worn in a while. However, if it’s your first time ever with one of EA’s college football games, we’ve got you covered with 9 tips for beginners to master the basics and dominate the league.
