The View‘s Hot Topics Table is welcoming an extra special visitor.
President Joe Biden is set to stop by the ABC morning panel show, which will be the first time a president currently in office is making a live appearance. While former President Barack Obama visited the show in 2010, his appearance was pre-recorded.
Whoopi Goldberg shared the “historic announcement” on the air during Monday’s (Sept. 23) episode, revealing that they “are honored to have the sitting President of the United States Joe Biden, [who] will be live on The View with us.”
Per the network’s Monday press release, Biden will be sitting down with Goldberg and fellow co-anchors Alyssa Farah Griffin, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin.
Biden’s upcoming appearance will mark his tenth on The View, with his most recent occurring in 2020.
