A New York City teacher was wounded Wednesday after gunshots were fired outside a Bronx middle school.
Just before noon, a series of shots rang out on the street outside Middle School 391 on Webster Avenue, according to law enforcement sources.
A bullet entered the teacher’s classroom on the sixth floor, and she was struck in the hand.
It is unclear if she was hit by a bullet, or cut by shattered glass.
There were no students in the building at the time of the incident, as classes don’t start until Thursday.
