Originally announced in May 2023 to capitalize on Trigun Stampede’s popularity (and the unexpected cultural phenomenon that was Bigolas Dickolas), the Trigun Deluxe hardcover collection of manga — reprinted for the first time in over a decade — is finally coming out on Tuesday, Sept 10. The faux leather-bound book contains nearly 700 pages, covering the original series across two volumes. If you’re interested in checking out Yasuhiro Nightow’s iconic manga, whether for the first time or as a returning fan, you can secure a pre-order copy with a sweet discount attached.
Crunchyroll currently offers the best deal on Trigun Deluxe, selling copies for $39.99, a 20% discount off its normal $49.99 list price. If you’d prefer to shop at Amazon, there you can get the book for $41.48.
If you’re already caught up on the original Trigun, there’s more for you to dig into yet. The sequel series Trigun Maximum has its own set of deluxe reprints on the way, with the first of four collections currently set to arrive in October 2024. Once again, Crunchyroll has the best deals so far, bringing each $49.99 book down to $39.99. To compare, Amazon is knocking $5 or so off each collection, and a little less than that off the final fourth volume that’s set to launch in February 2025.
