Blink Twice writer and director E.T. Feigenbaum has signed with Rain for management.
Feigenbaum began writing Blink Twice (fka Pussy Island) in 2017 with his writing partner Zoë Kravitz. The film, starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Alia Shawkat, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Christian Slater, Kyle MacLachlan and Geena Davis, is set for release Friday, August 23 by Amazon MGM Studios.
In the film, tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, and sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun-soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.
Feigenbaum also wrote on Hulu’s High Fidelity series, a reimagining of Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and the 2000 John Cusack movie, starring and executive produced by Kravitz. He is currently writing an action comedy for Platinum Dunes.
