A jealous dog’s reaction to seeing her dog walker with another pup has left internet viewers in stitches, as there was no denying her fury.
The hilarious video was shared on TikTok by user @kekepaniapayne, showing the dog’s absolute disgust when she spotted her walking another canine instead. The furious animal leapt up on the fence and watched as the other pup got to enjoy a walk. There is no way that she will forget this betrayal any time soon.
The dog walker joked that she got caught with someone else, leaving the dog behind the fence jealous and totally baffled. Even as she walked away from the house, the pet continued to stare her down and watch the duo spend time without her.
Since the clip was shared on August 2, it has left social media users in stitches, generating more than 104,000 views and almost 14,000 likes in a matter of days.
Just like humans, dogs are capable of feeling jealousy, and it is usually a sign that they are not getting the level of attention they are used to. The website PetMD suggests that causes of dog jealousy can include the introduction of a new pet; a new member of the family; a change in their home environment; or seeing their owner interact with another animal.
Some dogs will see these as signs that their relationship is under threat, or they might feel insecure about it and become jealous as a result.
The typical signs of a jealous dog, according to PetMD, include whining for attention; getting in between you and the other animal or person; growling when someone else is getting attention; or going to the bathroom indoors. Alternatively, some dogs may start barking, performing tricks, or seek attention somehow to show that they are still there. In some cases, canines will make their frustration obvious.
It is important to tackle a dog’s jealousy early on, or it could lead to problematic behavior or anxiety disorders later on. PetMD recommends being slow with any instructions and helping them build positive associations throughout. It is also suggested to remove any stimuli that is leading to disobedience, all the while establishing boundaries to help them feel less insecure.

The dog’s sheer indignation has certainly delighted internet viewers, as many social-media users lauded her for making sure @kekepaniapayne knew she was “totally busted.”
Among the 370 comments on the post, one person wrote: “The betrayal…. you’re walking who???? Why? What about me?”
Another TikTok user posted: “I thought we had something special, but you do this with every dog.”
“She’s like, how dare you,” added a third.
One comment read: “she had to stand on a table to ensure her eyes were not forsaking her.”
