MAGA loyalists were furious Friday as Fox News interviewed Democrat and Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Buttigieg spoke with anchor Sandra Smith about tariffs, President Donald Trump and his second administration and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
MAGA social media users were livid over the conversation and made it known — even attacking Smith for the sit-down.
“Sandra Smith is terrible at interviewing. She allowed Pete Buttigieg to spew lies, walk all over her and spin her questions. She was completely outmatched by one of the worst candidates on the left. Between her and Turner, not sure if I’m watching CNN or Fox,” X account RepubFrank, who frequently shares MAGA-related content, wrote.
“Why aren’t you defending President Trump and his policies with this idiot Pete Buttigieg and allowing him to speak lies !!!! Your not even interrupting him once !!!!” User Maria Tambasco, who often shares pro-Trump posts, wrote on X.
“Why is Sandra Smith not pushing back on Pete Buttigieg?” Pro-MAGA user Sherry Cappello wrote on X.
“Disgusting tongue bath for 20 minutes. Nice objectivity @SandraSmithFox,” user SirGern, who self-identifies as “MAGA/MAHA,” wrote on X.
