The Bachelorette Season 21’s cast of 25 guys intrigued me for a variety of reasons, but as a 30-year-old from Connecticut, I must admit that one man immediately stuck out from the pack: Jeremy Simon.
The 29-year-old’s bio may say that he’s from New York, New York, but early cast material listed his hometown as Fairfield, CT — also known as my college town — and on Night 1 he even told Jenn he’s from the small New England state. Surely I had to root for this Connecticut man’s success, I thought ahead of the premiere. But when Jeremy zoomed up to the mansion in a showy red Corvette and assured Jenn he had a large penis (I know it was a nod to a previous speech she made, but it was poorly executed!) I decided I couldn’t ship based on hometown alone. I had to wait and see if Jeremy was worth my support and Jenn’s roses. And two episodes in I still haven’t reached a verdict.
Jeremy ended Night 1 with a rose, but he also got involved in ridiculous Night 1 car theft drama. I’ll admit that he showed more potential in Episode 2, and I have a feeling he’ll be hanging around for a majority of the season (more on this later), so Jenn must see some serious good in him as their relationship progresses.
So who is Jeremy Simon on The Bachelorette? And how long does he stick around this season? We’ve got answers.
Here’s everything to know about The Bachelorette‘s Season 21 contestant Jeremy, including his Bachelorette bio, age, hometown, Instagram account, and more.
Who Is Jeremy Simon On The Bachelorette?
Per Jeremy’s official Bachelorette bio, the 29-year-old real estate investor from New York (but really from Connecticut) is “a spontaneous, loyal and generous guy who is here to find his forever love.”
“He has had long-term relationships in the past but has been unlucky in love ever since. When Jeremy loves, he loves hard and enjoys coming up with creative ideas for special date nights. When he isn’t working as a real estate investor, he loves staying active, traveling the world, and spending time with his family,” the bio continues. “He is looking for a lasting relationship where he and his partner can have great communication and share a good sense of humor. Jeremy says his love language is physical touch, and he’s hoping his future wife is ready for all the cuddles and kisses.”
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…the fun facts!
- Jeremy wants to live abroad someday.
- Jeremy is happiest when he gets a full eight hours of sleep.
- Jeremy’s ideal meet-the-family date would be inviting a girl over for Passover seder.
If you’re looking to stay up-to-date with Jeremy outside of the show, follow him on Instagram at @j____way, where he had 2,399 followers ahead of Season 21, Episode 3.
As for how long he’ll be on the show…here’s what Reality Steve has to say.
How Far Does Jeremy Simon Make It On The Bachelorette? Reality Steve Spoilers
Want to avoid major Bachelorette spoilers? This is your chance to stop reading. But if you’re curious to know how long Jeremy Simon might stick around, we’ve got a Reality Steve rumor that offers some insight below.
Per a May 31 Instagram post, Reality Steve claims he knows Jenn Tran’s Top 2 contestants, and sadly for Jeremy stans, he reportedly doesn’t make Jenn’s Top 2. However, I’m fairly confident this man gets a Hometown Date and at least makes it to Jenn’s Top 4, because The Bachelorette spoiled itself during the post-premiere previews…
If Season 21 is a largely abroad season filming in Australia and New Zealand, why did a post-premiere teaser show Jeremy pushing Jenn in a shopping cart through beloved CT/NY grocery store Stew Leonard’s?! The dude must get a Hometown Date with Jenn (and hopefully some soft serve ice cream and a bag of Wisconsin Cheddar Bagels from Stew’s). That’s why! At long last, growing up in CT has paid off!
As Reality Steve’s incorrect Daisy and Joey spoiler in The Bachelor‘s latest season reminded us, rumors are only rumors until proven otherwise. So you’ll have to keep watching to see when and why Jeremy Simon leaves the show. And if he does get a Hometown Date and takes Jenn to Connecticut, please think of me.
New episodes of The Bachelorette premiere Mondays from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC and next-day on Hulu. In the meantime, be sure to read our interview with Jenn Tran for more Bachelorette Season 21 teases.
