President Biden walked slowly off Air Force One and appeared to struggle to get into his motorcade Wednesday night, shortly after news broke that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
The 81-year-old commander in chief – who is facing mounting calls to step aside due to concerns about his mental and physical fitness – was spotted gingerly disembarking Air Force One in Delaware.
He even appeared to require physical assistance getting into the awaiting motorcade, which whisked him off to his Rehoboth home, video showed.
At one point, it looked like a Secret Service agent may have partially lifted the president into the car and manually adjusted his legs.
