EXCLUSIVE: Story Kitchen & DreamWorks Animation have formed a strategic partnership with Story Kitchen cementing an animated film first-look. Story Kitchen’s focus will be in securing exciting, iconic, Videogame IP for DWA to adapt for global animated audiences. Story Kitchen is currently in a TV first-look with Amazon.
“We’re incredibly excited to work with DreamWorks Animation as our first -official- film partner, since SK launched in 2022,” Story Kitchen said in a statement.
DWA has strong legacy of films built on immersive worlds which lines up with Story Kitchen’s ability to adapt video games into feature film and TV series adaptations. While no adaptations are currently in development, future announcements are expected soon.
