James Patterson is the latest celebrity figure to sign on to subscription streaming service Fox Nation, with a new true crime series that debuted today.
Unsolved with James Patterson is a three-part series that examines three unsolved homicide cases. They include the deaths of Nanette Krentel of Louisiana, Elizabeth Salgado of Utah and Brian Egg of California.
“I was totally gripped by these cases. The fact that they are real-life stories– and that we may help bring justice to the victims and their families – is very special,” Patterson said in a statement.
Fox Nation has added shows and limited series featuring figures including Kevin Costner and Rob Lowe. Last week, it was announced that Martin Scorsese would host and serve as executive producer of a series, Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints, set to debut in November.
Each episode of Patterson’s series will include interviews with friends and family members, as well as detectives on each of the cases.
Fox News Media’s Fox Nation launched in 2018 and has around 2 million subscribers, according to Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch. It’s been expanding into more entertainment and lifestyle content.
