MS NOW host Stephanie Ruhle and Bloomberg Opinion columnist Tim O’Brien criticized Michael Boulos, married to President Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany, for being included in Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s Middle East meetings.
“Are you kidding me!?” Ruhle said.
O’Brien agreed.
Rubio claimed Boulos was present only to “catch up” and did not participate in policy discussions during war and peace negotiations with international leaders, explained Ruhle.
O’Brien then contextualized the meeting within broader concerns, noting Boulos’ connections to UAE power brokers who invested hundreds of millions in Trump family crypto operations through World Liberty Financial.
“Okay, he has been doing rather shifty things, according to the New York Times reporting around deals in the Middle East, also something hinky with a yacht sale to Jared Kushner, et cetera et cetera,” explained O’Brien.
He also highlighted how the Trump administration lifted Biden-era restrictions on semiconductor chip sales to the UAE on national security grounds.
He explained Boulos has no foreign policy experience or security clearance and questioned why he attended.
