Broadway extended off the stage and into Radio City Music Hall over the weekend.
The 79th annual Tony Awards were held on Sunday night, with the world’s biggest theater stars gathered in the audience. Pink hosted the night’s festivities, and artists like Megan Thee Stallion performed.
There was also fashion galore across the event’s red carpet. Some celebrity looks were stunning. Others, unfortunately, were not.
These are the best and worst outfits we saw.
Danielle Brooks sparkled in silver and diamonds.

The actor and Broadway star wore a Wiederhoeft design for the 2026 Tonys, and it fit her like a glove.
The silver gown had an off-the-shoulder top with lace detailing, a floor-length skirt, and sequins from top to bottom.
The latter matched her diamond jewelry, which included rings, statement bracelets, and earrings.
There was too much happening with Drew Barrymore’s three-piece look.

Barrymore donned Balenciaga for the event.
She wore a white button-down blouse with a train tucked into oversize trousers and elbow-length gloves that bunched her long sleeves.
Together, there was too much going on with the outfit. Swapping the pants for a shorter skirt could have drastically improved the look.
Adrien Brody looked dapper in stripes.

His dark Saint Laurent suit was decorated with subtle pinstripes that matched the black-and-white design of his shirt.
The pattern was bold enough to stand out on the carpet, yet simple and chic, so his outfit overall looked effortless.
Leslie Odom Jr. had a rare fashion miss.

He arrived at the Tony Awards wearing an ensemble from the New York City brand Public School. It comprised oversize trousers, an asymmetrical suit jacket, and a red satin bomber jacket.
The outfit’s base could have worked on the theater star, especially if paired with some sparkling jewelry.
Unfortunately, the vibrant streetwear-style jacket he wore over it distracted from the look.
Queen Latifah looked like royalty in a feathered cape.

Naeem Khan designed her iridescent look.
It featured a black sleeveless gown beneath a floor-length cape with beaded designs up top and green feathers from the waist down.
The look was flattering and eye-catching, especially when paired with the rosy pink makeup and crystal jewelry Queen Latifah wore.
Lea Michele looked great — but she should have saved her outfit for a different event.

Michael Kors designed her gown, featuring a white tank-top bodice and a sparkling black skirt with a short train.
The look was perfectly suited for Michele, and she looked great on the carpet. Still, the outfit was too casual for the Tonys.
It would’ve been nice to see her wear something more glamorous and change into this dress later in the evening.
Luke Evans made a case for white suits, and it worked.

The “Rocky Horror Show” star arrived at the Tonys in a white Balenciaga suit, a matching undershirt, and a bow tie.
The outfit was tailored to him perfectly and stood out from any other suit at the event.
