Ryan Seacrest reveals his dating red flags that turn him off

When it comes to dating, Ryan Seacrest is looking for the “simple things” in a potential partner, like “politeness to strangers.”

“When you’re out on a run or a walk or a bike ride, do you say hi to people that pass?” the game show host, 51, said on Monday’s episode of his “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” show as he listed his dating red flags.

“If you don’t, I’m not so sure about you. And if someone says ‘good morning’ to you on the path and you don’t respond, that is a red flag.”

“I take everybody out for a little exercise. It’s a test,” he added.

His other dating hangups revolve around morning routines, the “Wheel of Fortune” star revealed.

“I really look forward to getting up and having my coffee,” Seacrest continued. “I think if we can’t share that moment together, it’s a red flag.”

“So, ‘I need coffee,’ is a green flag. Don’t have a lot, and please don’t put milks and stuff in it,” he added, prompting some pushback from his co-hosts Tanya Rad and Sisanie.

But Seacrest didn’t waver on his opinion. “Green flag, black coffee drinker,” he doubled down.

Seacrest then decreed that anyone interested in him “cannot have one of those things that just ruins your day from the beginning,” referring to a loud alarm.

“It’s got to be a chimey thing. Like a pleasant, not a hardcore alarm. Chimes. Green flag,” he clarified.

As for his final dating turnoff, the host added that he’s looking for someone who “can get ready in less than 27 minutes.”

“‘Cause not 30. It’s not 25. 27. Green flag. If you’re over an hour, and I have been there over an hour. What are you doing?” he shared.

“How many poses can you make in the mirror for 90-plus minutes?” he continued.

“What are you doing? Like, I have to go back to work. You missed your window. Time’s up. We missed our window to do anything.”

Seacrest has been single for some time now since his quiet breakup from model Aubrey Paige. The exes broke up in April 2024 after three years of dating.

The exes called it quits in April 2024 after three years of dating.

However, the TV star may have some luck in the future as he joked in March that he’s been looking for love on Tinder.

Prior to his relationship with Paige, Seacrest was romantically linked to model Shayna Taylor from 2017 to 2020.

He also dated “Dancing with the Stars” judge Julianne Hough from 2010 to 2013.
