Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham’s stalker charged after unknown substance horror attack

Lindsey Buckingham’s stalker has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly attacking the former Fleetwood Mac guitaristwith an unknown substance.

Michelle Dick, 54, was hit with seven criminal charges, including making criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon involving a motor vehicle (which stems from an incident from March 19) and felony vandalism, according to court documents reviewed by Rolling Stone on Monday.

Dick is facing another felony count for allegedly making a criminal threat against Buckingham on March 25, and a misdemeanor battery charge for using force during that incident, the outlet reported.

In addition, Dick was charged with stalking Buckingham, 76, and another person identified as Stephanie N.

A Los Angeles County judge issued a warrant for Dick’s arrest and set bail at $300,000.

Page Six has reached out to Buckingham’s rep for comment.

The court documents claim Dick stalked Buckingham between late 2021 and March 25, 2026.

On that day, Dick followed Buckingham to Santa Monica, California and threw an unknown substance at at him when he arrived at a building for an appointment.

Dick ran away after the attack. Buckingham was not injured.

According to the docs obtained by Rolling Stone, Buckingham previously sought a restraining order against Dick in November 2024.

At the time, Dick allegedly called 9-1-1 and falsely reported that Buckingham’s son, William, 27, was “suicidal” inside the home and that she heard gunshots.

Nearly a dozen officers arrived at Buckingham’s house that night, he said in a written statement filed with the court, per Rolling Stone.

“When I answered the door, I was handcuffed and asked to step outside,” Buckingham reportedly wrote.

“After twenty minutes of the police searching my house and me outside in the cold, handcuffed, I was let back into my house, shaken and fearful,” he added.

In his petition for the restraining order, Buckingham said that Dick’s harassment made him “afraid her conduct may escalate into something physically dangerous to me and my family.”

The musician also alleged Dick called him dozens of times and left “long drawn-out messages that included the claim she was my child and threats to kill me and my family.”

The restraining order, which was granted by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Scully in December 2024, ordered Dick to stay at least 100 yards away from Buckingham, his wife, his son, their homes, and their vehicles for five years.

She was also barred from harassing or contacting the Buckingham family in any way, according to Rolling Stone.

Dick spoke out in an interview with KTLAlast week, claiming that Buckingham is her “birth father.”

She also admitted to showing up to Buckingham’s house “one time last year.”
