“Little Rascals” star Brandon “Bug” Hall is asking fans for financial help as he and his wife prepare to welcome their sixth baby.
Hall launched a GoFundMe fundraiser on Thursday, sharing that he “really need[ed] some help.”
“It’s now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these in all that time. I always said this was my choice, and so I didn’t want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well here we are,” Hall wrote in the description.

The former child star wrote that he had fallen behind on a few of the family’s bills after moving to a new property in rural Arkansas.
He shared that he needed some help “getting the last few things buttoned up” before the arrival of their sixth child.
“Times are hard for everyone, and I’m no more deserving than anyone else, but I ask in your charity that you help where you can, whether monetarily, by sharing this, or by prayer and sacrifice for the Hall-Barnetts of the Holy Cross,” he wrote.

So far, Hall has raised $10,130, which has surpassed his original $2,000 goal.
The star’s GoFundMe comes just months after he was arrested and charged in Ohio in April with failure to appear for a court date over an October 2024 traffic citation.
In 2020, he was arrested in Texas for huffing air duster cans.
Hall, who is best known for playing Alfalfa Switzer in the 1994 Steven Spielberg comedy, previously revealed to the Daily Mail that he had taken a “vow of poverty” and was living off-the-grid as “a radical Catholic extremist”.

He said that he had given up the money he made as a child star, donating it to charity, along with many of his belongings.
“My goal is to maintain a life as free of any need for an income as possible,” he told the outlet at the time.
“If there’s a financial need that comes up, I’ll go take some work or do an odd job, for cash to fulfill that need,” he said.
Previously, Hall and his family lived in Los Angeles and Texas.

The former actor told the Daily Mail that they homeschool their children, and will “strongly discourage them” from going to college one day.
He called formal school “nonsense.” The former star also called gay marriage “contrary to natural law” and abortion “plainly murder.”
“I didn’t want to go work some job that was basically meaningless, making widgets to entertain people or distract people,” Hall told the outlet at the time about his decision to quit Hollywood.
