Former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon is setting the record straight on Hugh Hefner’s alleged demands for incestuous sex with her twin sister, Kristina Shannon.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Karissa, 37, confirmed that Hefner’s widow Crystal Harris’ recent claim is “is true,” admitting she was confused anyone was shocked by the use of the word “incest.”
“I figured people would already have assumed that,” Karissa said, noting she’d previously described sex with the late Playboy founder as feeling like “assault” and “rape,” including the allegedly forced threesome on her and Kristina’s 19th birthday.

“He would try and force me and my sister to have sex with each other,” claimed Karissa, who lived in Hefner’s famed Los Angeles estate with Kristina from ages 18 to 20.
“Me and my sister never actually did it together. So that’s a statement I want to say. Like, really, we never, never had incest[uous] sex. Like, we never did that. We faked it. We faked it every time. And it was horrible. Like, we faked it completely.”
Karissa said Harris — who was married to Hefner from December 2012 until his death in September 2017 at age 91 — was often present and aware that she and Kristina “were faking it.”

But according to Karissa, Hefner “had no idea” and “thought it was real,” claiming the uncomfortable intimacy “made him so happy” because he thought it was “beautiful.”
“He wanted to see it and wanted us to fool around with each other and said that if we really loved each other, we would do it together,” she claimed, adding that although she and Kristina were young and impressionable, they were on the exact same page.
“Me and my sister spoke about it. … We were like, ‘Let’s just fake it,’” she recalled.

Karissa told us her traumatic experiences as one of Hefner’s many girlfriends made her think about the twins who’d come before her, Sandy and Mandy Bentley, who were a Playboy staple around the turn of the millennium.
“Were they actually doing it?” Karissa wondered. “I felt bad for those girls because [Hefner] was younger in those days, so he was harder to fool. So I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, those poor girls are probably ruined.’”
She told us she saw the Bentleys at a party once, years after they’d moved on from Playboy.
Karissa shared that the sisters were “very quiet,” adding, “I just felt so bad. I was like, ‘Look at them; they just look ruined from this place.’ And that’s why I promised myself I wouldn’t stay [at the Playboy Mansion] very long.”

Karissa went on to claim that before she moved in, she had “no idea” that the gaggles of gorgeous women who were living in Hefner’s home were “really having sex” with him — and others.
The “Girls Next Door” alum also cosigned Harris’ claim that actor-comedian Jon Lovitz was among the “really perverted” and “very misogynistic” men who frequented the mansion to “live out their dreams of what [Hefner was] doing.”
Lovitz, for his part, is flattered Harris branded him the mansion’s “No. 1 customer.”
For nearly a decade after leaving Hefner, the Shannons dabbled in pornography and even filmed together, which they previously described as “survival.”
