Podcaster Hila Klein is divorcing her husband of 14 years, Ethan Klein, after he allegedly cheated on her. According to documents obtained by Page Six, Hila, who filed the papers, lists the date of marriage as October 10, 2012, and the date of separation as October 13, 2026. The divorce filing was first reported by TMZ.
Hila, who is being represented by famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser, is asking for joint custody of their three minor children, spousal support, her maiden name to be restored, and for Ethan to pay her legal fees.
YouTuber Ethan was fired from his comedy and commentary “H3 Podcast” after Hila, his co-host, accused him of having an affair.
“I am living a nightmare I can’t wake up from,” Hila wrote on Instagram last Thursday. “My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months.”
Hila explained that she had suspicions, but when she confronted Ethan about her “concerns and hurt feelings,” she “was met with dismissive answers and no action.”
“Eventually, he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done,” Hila continued in her explanation, noting that Ethan continued to lie to her about the details of his relationship with the other woman.
Ethan finally admitted that he had been having an affair for over six months. “The betrayal I feel is immeasurable,” Hila told her followers after the truth came out. “The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?”
The “H3 Podcast” crew released a statement confirming Ethan’s firing and expressing support for Hila.
“We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way,” the statement read. “We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.”
The podcast team said they’re “all shocked, angry, and heartbroken over Ethan’s affair, and confirmed they decided to cut ties with him “as soon as they found out” what he did.
“We don’t yet know what that means for the future,” the podcast crew went on. “There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you.”
Page Six has reached out to Ethan for comment, but did not hear back immediately.
Ethan and Hila’s podcast, launched in 2016, has over 2.5 million YouTube subscribers.
The couple met in 2007 when Ethan visited Israel during a Birthright trip. Hila was serving in the Israel Defense Forces.
Ethan and Hila married five years later and share sons Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2.
