Prince William and Kate Middleton are ringing in Halloween with a sweet throwback photo of a tiny Prince Louis — and royal fans can’t get enough of the adorable snap.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, took to their joint Instagram account on Saturday to share a previously unseen photo of the youngest member of their family when he was 1 year old.
In the pic, Louis, now 8, could be seen among a garden of flowers, bending down to pick up a pumpkin that was almost as big as he is.
The toddler rocked a navy blue rain jacket and red rain boots in the snap.
“Happy Halloween!
,” William and Middleton captioned the photo, while also revealing that it was taken by the mom of three herself.
Royal fans went wild in the comments, with many gushing over the young prince as one person called him a “precious little pumpkin,” while another wrote, “What a cutie.”
A third social media user perfectly summed up the festive snap, commenting, “A lil’ punkin’ with a lil’ punkin’.”
The Halloween photo was just the latest glimpse of Louis that the couple has shared in recent months.
To mark his 8th birthday in April, they released a montage of previously unseen footage showing the young one enjoying a day at the beach.
In the footage, Louis could be seen digging in the sand, running toward the water and even taking a dip in the sea while wearing a wetsuit.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great!” they captioned the video.
Earlier that same day, a new portrait of Louis was also shared, showing him smiling aboard a boat with his arms crossed, while he was dressed in a blue quarter-zip sweater.
“Happy birthday, Louis! 8 today!
,” read the caption.
The previous year, Louis’ 7th birthday was marked with another portrait, this time showing the young prince sitting on a rock with a toothless grin as he showed off his missing front teeth.
He wore a sweater over a button-down shirt paired with jeans, while the caption read, “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!
.”
William and Middleton, who married in April 2011, are also parents to Prince George, 13, and Princess Charlotte, 11.
