Shocking Reddit messages have exposed a suspect’s alleged plot to have an online stranger rape his fiancée inside their Arizona home — while she was there with their two young children, according to court documents.
Zarian Dyer, 23, was arrested Thursday after investigators alleged he recruited 20-year-old Adrian Ayala to assault his fiancée, Bella Torres, according to the Buckeye Police Department.
Ayala allegedly received a Reddit message on Oct. 16 asking whether Torres would be “in on” the plan — to which Dyer replied, “nope.”
“You can’t tell her I told you or sent you either you just gotta do it I understand if it’s too much,” Ayala was told, according to court documents reviewed by the NBC.
Ayala then asked what would happen if the twisted scheme went awry, the user urged him to “run to your car and leave and we can pretend this didn’t happen.”
The alleged attacker initially said he had to “back out” because he was “not comfortable if she not into it,” but the other user pushed back, insisting that “the more you threaten her the more she’ll get into it …”
Later that day around 5 p.m., Ayala received impatient messages asking if he could “get here faster” because the user was trying to “fake kill time” at the grocery store.
Ayala alledgedly carried out the terrifying attack around 6 p.m. at Torres’ home in Buckeye — about 30 miles outside Phoenix — while she was home with her two young children, police said.
Torres reportedly told police she spotted a “random man” poking his head through her front door just minutes after her fiancé left to pick up groceries, according to court records obtained by the Merced Sun-Star.
Her 2-month-old son was sleeping in a bedroom and her 17-month-old daughter stood right behind her when she confronted Ayala, who allegedly asked to use her bathroom.
He then kicked the door open and “began to choke her by grabbing her by the neck,” Torres told investigators.
Ayala trapped Torres in the bathroom and “began trying to undo the button on the victim’s pants but was unable to” before groping her, according to the report.
Refusing to back down, Torres managed to pull Ayala into the driveway, slapping and fighting him off as he tried to pin his weight against her.
During the struggle, Ayala allegedly dropped a bombshell: “Your boyfriend told me you’d be into this,” per footage obtained by NBC.
She then repeatedly asked for Dyer’s name, and Ayala did not respond.
Ayala allegedly confessed to investigators that he targeted the home after connecting with Dyer online and striking a sinister deal to assault the unsuspecting Torres.
Detectives later seized Ayala’s electronics, allegedly uncovering the damning messages between him and Dyer plotting the assault.
Dyer was hit with a slew of charges including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping and conspiracy.
Ayala was slapped with charges of kidnapping, sexual abuse, burglary and aggravated assault, court records show.
