Kevin Federline hit with staggering credit card bill after Britney Spears payments end

Kevin Federline is facing money troubles now that his Britney Spears well has run dry – he has been hit with a lawsuit over a hefty credit card tab.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, the former backup dancer, 48, owes at least $117,704 total to City National Bank spanning a credit card, a line of credit and an overdraft line.

Federline signed the agreement with the bank in late November 2024 — right around the time the “Toxic” artist’s final child support payment landed in his account.

As we previously reported, Federline initially received $40,000 a month in child support while raising their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in Hawaii.

After Sean Preston turned 18, the payments were later reduced to $20,000 and continued until Jayden James graduated from high school.

In his memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline said those payments went toward security and maintaining a standard of living the boys experienced with Spears, which “easily ran well over $40,000 a month.”

“The money was gone almost as soon as it came in,” he claimed in the book.

The lawsuit claims Federline was given until August 2026 to pay his credit card debt. Meanwhile, his personal line of credit was due in June 2025, with his personal overdraft line due two months earlier in April.

The bank isn’t just looking for the tab; it also wants Federline to cough up unpaid accrued interest – a steep 20.5% on the credit card, 7.5% on the line of credit and 18% for the overdraft line.

Federline’s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Federline and Spears met in early 2004. They were engaged by July and tied the knot in California that September.

Spears filed for divorce in November 2006, and their split was finalized in July 2007.

Federline has since moved on with Victoria Prince, whom he married in 2013.
