When I was a New York Times politics reporter, I was usually the one asking questions of voters and candidates. But what I loved about talking to people close to Election Day — especially young voters — was that interviews often turned into conversations. People wanted to know how we covered political campaigns, why we focused on some candidates more than others and how we decided to write about some things but not about other things.
Now I’m an editor at The Times, working to help build reader trust in our journalism. A big part of that is addressing reader questions and concerns. I welcome the chance for that conversation to continue. Join me in the comments and let me know what’s on your mind.
