A Long Island father zapped his autistic, teenage son with a taser in an attempt to “control him” after “an emotional outburst” at the family home, according to police.
Jin Chang, 52, was arrested by Nassau County police after the principal of a Plainview middle school reported that Chang’s 14-year-old child had what appeared to be scratches and other bruising marks on his stomach and neck this week, cops said.
Chang caused the injuries to his son on Monday during a domestic dispute that got out of hand, cops said.

“Chang used a taser to inflict the injuries to his son in an attempt to control him during an emotional outburst,” Nassau County police said.
The taser he used to zap his son was confiscated by police and Chang was arrested Monday evening, the same day school officials alerted the police.
Chang was charged with felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned in court on Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty and had his bail set at $50,000 cash, $125,000 bond, or $250,000 partially secured bond.
