Calling all hockey fans! If you’re looking to attend a game at Madison Square Garden and make a difference, now is your opportunity. On November 15th, Northwell Health and the New York Rangers will bring the annual Alumni Classic game to The Garden for a Rangers vs. Rangers matchup. This charity game will celebrate Rangers hockey across generations while raising funds to support children battling cancer and their families through the Northwell Foundation and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
For fans, this experience can go far beyond watching the action from the stands. Special ticket packages and one-of-a-kind experiences are available for purchase, offering unprecedented access to Rangers royalty. This year’s alumni class will feature NY Rangers legends from across four decades, including Mike Richter, Adam Graves, Ryan Callahan, and all-star goalie Henrik Lundqvist who said himself “You are going to recognize a ton of former players. We’re going to have a ton of fun.”
“This year is exciting, because for the first time, it will be Rangers Alumni facing off against other former Rangers. This is a unique opportunity for fans of all generations to see familiar faces, relive great memories, and enjoy a fun, engaging game day experience while also supporting a great cause. It will be a special day for everyone involved.”

If you’re looking to be part of this, lower-bowl tickets offer an exciting opportunity to experience the Alumni Classic live at Madison Square Garden. With an accessible price point, fans can take in the action up close, celebrate Rangers history, and watch legendary players come together for a special occasion. In addition to watching the great ones from the ‘94 Stanley Cup winning team play, seats in the lower-bowl will bring you closer to the action of fan-favorites Derek Stepan and Marc Staal and have a front row seat to the teams coached by Stéphane Matteau and Ron Greschner. Whether attending with family, friends, or fellow hockey fans, the Alumni Classic offers a memorable way to experience the energy of MSG and be part of a unique celebration of the Rangers legacy.
For fans who want to see what it’s like behind the scenes, the Alumni Classic offers a variety of special experiences. These exclusive opportunities include sitting on the Rangers bench through the Penalty Box Photo Experience, Zamboni rides, post-game photos on the ice, special messages on GardenVision, and signed Mystery Pucks. While most packages are currently sold out, the GardenVision Message experience is still available. Each offers a unique perspective and adds even more memorable moments to the celebration.
The best part? Every ticket and experience purchased helps support an important cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Northwell Foundation’s work supporting kids diagnosed with cancer and their families. That means fans can turn their love of Rangers hockey into an opportunity to give back. Proceeds also support the Garden of Dreams Foundation, which works with the MSG Family of Companies to bring life-changing opportunities to young people in need.
“It’s always special to get back together with this hockey family and be a part of an event that gives back. Being able to participate in the Alumni Classic year after year and raise money for Northwell and the Garden of Dreams Foundations makes it even more meaningful. This is about more than hockey – it’s about the friendships, the memories and most importantly, making a difference in the community.”

Northwell will also have a special presence throughout the event. One lucky employee from Northwell will sing the national anthem on the ice at MSG and Northwell’s own hockey team will join Rangers alumni for warmups and sit alongside the team on the bench. The Alumni Classic offers fans a chance to see Northwell’s commitment to the community come to life inside The Garden.
Whether you’re a lifelong Rangers fan, looking to introduce the next generation to the team’s history, or simply searching for a unique way to experience Madison Square Garden, the Alumni Classic offers something special, with the opportunity to turn that experience into meaningful support for children and families in need. The Alumni Classic takes place November 15, 2026 at 12pm at Madison Square Garden. Tickets are available now.
