So, who is Jason Galanis? Here’s everything you need to know about Chrisley’s new beau.
Galanis was convicted of running several financial fraud schemes

In September 2020, Galanis was sentenced to 189 months in prison for his involvement in multiple financial fraud schemes, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
One of the schemes involved defrauding the Oglala Sioux tribe in South Dakota. Galanis and his co-conspirators, which included his father, John, persuaded a native American tribal entity to issue them bonds, promising that they would invest the money appropriately for them.
However, instead of investing the money as promised, Galanis and his co-conspirators diverted more than $38 million into an account that he controlled. Galanis personally spent more than $8.5 million on homes, cars, jewelry and travel.

In addition, he was convicted of running two other schemes. One involved manipulating Gerova Financial Group’s stock and defrauding clients of an investment advisory firm.
He also participated in a separate scheme to defraud investment advisory firm TAG Virgin Islands, Inc.
He was ordered to pay nearly $162 million in restitution, according to the New York Times.
Galanis’ prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in 2025

On March 28, 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’ prison sentence.
The President’s order authorized for the “immediate release” of Galanis, who was serving his sentence at a corrections center in Montgomery, Alabama.
The commutation also ensured that he was relieved of financial penalties.
Chrisley’s parents, Todd and Julie, were also pardoned by Trump in May 2025 after they were convicted in May 2022 of conspiring to commit bank fraud and evade taxes.
He has ties to Hunter Biden

Galanis was an associate of Hunter Biden and testified in March 2024 before the House Oversight Committee in March 2024 as part of the House Republican’s inquiry to impeach then-President Joe Biden.
Galanis, who testified virtually from behind bars, previously worked with Hunter and his business associate, Devon Archer, on investment ventures.
During his testimony, he said that he was present for a May 2014 phone call that took placebetween former President Joe Biden, Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina, and other business associates.
Galanis claimed that the former President told Baturina to “be good to my boy,” in reference to Hunter.
He also made new claims about the Biden family’s relationships in China and Ukraine, including their investments.
The couple initially met through ‘the world of politics’

During an October 27 episode of her “Unlocked” podcast, Chrisley explained that she met Galanis through “the world of politics,” while she was campaigning for pardons for her formerly incarcerated parents.
She said that when she first spotted him, she thought he was “gorgeous.”
They reconnected once again after her parents were pardoned in May 2025.

“I got a text message [from Galanis] that said, “Congratulations, you did it,”‘ she detailed.
Once she texted him back nine days later, their messages took off from there.
“When we truly started digging deep into things, it was so much stronger of a connection than either of us ever thought was there,” she said.
