Halle Berry took a swipe at ex Olivier Martinez via Instagram Stories as their custody battle rages on.
The actress shared a pointed social media post reading, “If kids disrespect their moms, the root cause often traces back to the relationship with the father.”
The “Catwoman” star did not share more and instead went on to post about Black Cat Awareness Month.

Berry and Martinez, both 60, have been butting heads over custody since their 2015 divorce, with the former couple not settling on joint legal and physical custody until eight years later.
However, their court battle escalated last month when the actor claimed his ex-wife had choked their 13-year-old son, Maceo.
Martinez was temporarily granted primary custody of the teenager in September and is seeking a domestic violence restraining order and sole custody.

Berry has denied his allegations as “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading” via her lawyer at the time, accusing Martinez of “erratic, possessive and violent behavior.”
“Halle is used to this kind of outrageous conduct from Mr. Martinez and, while she is deeply saddened, she will not allow it to deter her from fighting for Maceo’s best interests and providing him with the love and support he needs,” the statement read.
In subsequent court docs, Berry claimed Maceo returns from his time with his dad “angry and combative.”

She claimed her ex has repeatedly interfered with their teen’s education and therapy, involving him in their legal disputes and undermining her parenting decisions.
The former pageant queen, notably, is asking that her and Martinez’s 50/50 custody agreement be reinstated — and for sole legal custody of Maceo’s education and medical care.
She and Martinez have been duking it out in Los Angeles Superior Court since Oct. 19, with both taking the stand in court.
Maceo also testified — for nearly four hours — as Berry’s fiancé, Van Hunt, and her 18-year-old daughter with ex Gabriel Aubry, Nahla, did virtually.

Nahla filed a declaration of support earlier this month, writing, “I have never seen my mom hit, slap, choke, grab, or physically abuse Maceo in any way.”
Acknowledging her mom “can be strict when necessary and expects her children to follow rules and be respectful,” Nahla added, “My mom is a loving and devoted parent. … She is warm, supportive and deeply involved in our lives.”
Closing arguments are set to take place Tuesday, and a ruling is expected this week.
