Tell The Post: Share your memories of East Potomac Park

Golfers, runners, birdwatchers, bikers, anglers and hobbyists of all stripes in and around Washington have long found common ground on the grassy peninsula of East Potomac Park.

On Sunday, President Donald Trump announced a plan to transform the modest East Potomac Golf Links into a championship-level golf course. The plan could affect not only the path that encircles the park, used by large numbers of residents, but also the golf course’s historic grove of Japanese cherry trees.

Ahead of the 15-month closure, we want to know: How has East Potomac Park impacted your life? What significant events happened in your life there? What are some of your favorite memories formed there?

Please tell us your East Potomac Park story using the form below. We will publish some of your responses.
