A popular roller coaster at Cedar Point — Six Flags’ Sandusky, Ohio theme park — was shut down on Friday after a metal bracket broke off a car mid-ride, according to a report.

The bracket snapped while Millennium Force was in motion but missed visitors and staff — leaving no one injured, a Six Flags Entertainment rep told WOIO.
Park officials immediately halted the ride, which remains closed pending a safety inspection before passengers are allowed back on.

The accident follows another recent scare at Six Flags Over Georgia, where the “Goliath” hypercoaster was shut down for maintenance due to a wasp’s nest just hours before a teacher fatally fell out of the ride, a parkgoer told The Post.
Hassan Kariem, 42, was killed and four children were injured when he was ejected from the high-speed coaster shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday at the park near Atlanta.
