President Donald Trump once again brought back his obsession with annexing Canada at his rally on Wednesday.
“Canada will become the 51st state,” Trump proclaimed to the crowd. “Just like Greenland” — referencing his other ongoing fixation on taking a foreign territory.
Commenters on social media could only shake their head in pity.
“Complete insanity. As usual,” said writer “Polly Sigh.”
“He is deeply unwell,” wrote the official account for the liberal network Meidas Touch. “None of this is normal.”
“Wow! Two 51st states!” wrote political commentator “Tea Pain.”
“Canada is elbows up,” wrote liberal commentator Vince Wilson. “It will never be the 51st state. This is what authoritarianism looks like.”
