Late Night Roasts Vivek Ramaswamy for His Loose Grip

Welcome to Late Night Roundup, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. Here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

Dropping the Ball

During a campaign rally on Saturday, Vivek Ramaswamy, who is running for governor of Ohio, struggled to lift a boy into the air, letting the child slip back to the ground before regaining his grip.

“It’s fun to have a video of the exact moment you lost your campaign,” Jimmy Fallon said of the incident on Monday’s “Tonight Show.”

“It got worse when Trump was like, ‘Me next, uppy, uppy!’” — JIMMY FALLON

“Doctors were relieved that Vivek caught the child knowing that if he had dropped him on his head, he might wind up voting Democrat.” — GREG GUTFELD

“This is a fella you could trust with your kids.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“That must be the Republican masculinity we keep hearing so much about.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“It’s like watching a toddler pick up the family cat. Somebody’s going to get hurt and it’s probably not the cat.” — SETH MEYERS

The Punchiest Punchlines (Super Intelligence Force Edition)

“President Trump announced yesterday he’s establishing the Super Intelligence Force. All right, what the hell is that? It sounds like a badge you’d get in middle school for reading 10 library books.” — SETH MEYERS

“Everything he comes up with sounds like a game you played with your brother when you were 9 years old.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“What happens if the President of China appoints a ‘Super-Duper Intelligence Force?’ How will we top that?” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“That’s right, President Trump announced that he is establishing the Super Intelligence Force. Who better than a guy who stared at the sun for so long he forgot how to close an umbrella?” — SETH MEYERS

The Bits Worth Watching

Jacob Coxon, a former Anthropic researcher who resigned from the company over A.I. safety concerns, spoke about the future of the technology with Jon Stewart on Monday’s “Daily Show.”

What We’re Excited About on Tuesday Night

The actor Kyle MacLachlan will discuss his new memoir, “Fictional Selves,” on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Hosted by Marc Summers, the children’s game show “Double Dare” debuted 40 years ago on Nickelodeon and television hasn’t been the same since.
