A singing MAGA pundit let loose a puzzling claim about President Donald Trumpas she covered the president’s political rally in Nebraska.
Trump stopped in Grand Island, Nebraska, to stump for Republicans like Sen. Pete Ricketts(R-NE) ahead of the consequential midterm elections. The rally is part of the president’s pledge to campaign as much as possible for Republicans, a move that some analysts have noted put vulnerable seats between a rock and a hard place.
Trump was a little late to the rally, which was scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET, and Right Side Broadcasting Network pundit Toria Brooke treated viewers to a brief, strange show while the network waited for Trump to take the stage.
“Sometimes the president is a little bit late,” Brooke said.
In the background, Brooke heard the loudspeakers boom “Pinball Wizard” by The Who.
“This is a great song. I might have to start singing here in a second,” Brooke said.
She kept her promise as the lyrics began, singing along with the first two measures of the first verse. Then, she let loose a strange claim about Trump as she told the audience why they needed to support the president and Republicans during the midterms.
“He sure plays a mean pinball, just like President Trump,” Brooke said, quoting part of the song’s lyrics. “Trump is the same as the pinball wizard, except he’s the world wizard. He’s the kingmaker, putting people in places where they should be.”
