President Donald Trump uncorked a bizarre dig at former President Joe Biden during a campaign rally Thursday.
Trump stopped by the Peterbilt truck assembly factory in Denton, Texas, to stump for local Republicans like Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Senate candidate Ken Paxton, the state’s scandal-plagued attorney general. During his rambling speech, Trump attempted to insult his predecessor’s physical health by pointing out that Biden needed help finding the stairs on one occasion.
“I don’t have that problem, you see. You see how many stairs there are?” Trump told the crowd, which briefly cheered as he pointed to different parts of the stage.
I can go ramp; I can go stair; I can go another stair over there,” Trump said. “He could never find the stair!”
However, the punchline seemed to blow right over the crowd. Right Side Broadcasting Network’s cameras captured a silent crowd as Trump moved on to the next topic of his speech.
“We were being laughed at all over the world,” Trump said. “They don’t laugh at us anymore.”
