Society shock as ex-con MAGA man hosts blowout birthday bash at famed Kennedys compound

It’s Scamelot!

Society is in shock after learning that the Kennedys’ hallowed Hyannis Port compound is being pimped out for a blowout birthday bash — for a disgraced ex-con businessman. And a Republican, no less!

We’re told “old and new guard” New Yorkers were left sputtering when invitations went out in July for a joint birthday for former Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski and his wife, Kimberly.

Billed as “An Evening in Camelot,” guests are invited to “a celebration of two birthdays honoring 140 remarkable years”: Dennis’ 80th birthday and Kimberly’s 60th.

Invites to “An Evening in Camelot” went out in July.

Ted Kennedy’s widow, Vicki, launched a Kennedy family feud in 2012 when she donated the property to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, per her late husband’s wishes.

At the time the institute said “it is to be used for the purpose of holding educational seminars and forums. It is not for rent by private individuals.”

It seems such high-minded mantras have fallen by the wayside. (Its spokesperson did not get back to us for comment.)

Critics are pointing fingers at the birthday girl, who they suspect of using the iconic spot to help rehab the couple’s image.

“She’s finagled a situation… The whole thing is a bit weird,” an invited guest told Page Six, adding it’s even more strange given the couple’s MAGA politics.

We hear they’ve been trying to re-enter society by throwing lavish bashes around Nantucket, where they summer, ever since Dennis was arrested more than two decades ago for larceny, fraud, and looting over $100 million from his company. He served six and a half years in prison before getting released on parole in 2014, and subsequently marrying Kimberly, his third wife.

But Kimberly scoffed at scuttlebutt, dismissing claims she “finagled” her way in. She told us they are not renting the property, but were rather approached by someone from the EMK Institute, and “started talking about…what they can do with that property, and that was it.”

The conversation lead to them making a donation to the nonprofit and planning the party on the lawn. “We’re not renting the property… they’re allowing us to put a tent up on this beautiful legacy property, so we’re just in a tent on the lawn, just like the old all-American family that you’ve seen in all the past Kennedy films.”

The couple’s guests are also encouraged to donate to the institute via a barcode on the invites. Kimberly wouldn’t disclose how much they donated for the property, but said, “it wasn’t very big.”

And when it comes to their detractors, Kimberly told us they can say what they want. “Just spell my last name right,” she said.

“Listen, be a sweetheart, and I’ll invite you to the next party,” she added.

John F. Kennedy Jr. and Jackie O, Robert F. Kennedy, Ted Kennedy and Joe and Rose Kennedy all owned homes on the compound, which became a central part of the Camelot mythology, especially the fiercely contested family games of touch football on the lawns of the six-acre retreat.

Ted Kennedy moved there full-time in 2008, a year before he died.
