Strict rules KJ Biermann must follow after jail release for sodomy and sexual battery charges

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s 15-year-old son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., will have to surrender personal belongings following his release from jail as he faces seven felony charges in his sexual assault case.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge amended KJ’s bond order to require him to surrender his passport to his pretrial officer before he can be released from custody, according to a Sept. 15 filing exclusively obtained by Page Six.

The document also states that all other conditions previously mentioned his bond hearing will “remain the same.”

As Page Six previously reported, KJ was ordered to abstain from using his cellphone or any form of social media. He must also stay at his mom’s home and attend school virtually.

The teen is also banned from having direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family or associates, and he is barred from being in contact with anyone under the age of 16.

KJ is subject to electronic monitoring upon his release.

The update came after sexual assault case expert and former prosecutor Lindsay Richards, who is not involved in the case, exclusively told Page Six earlier this month that KJ would face strict stipulations if he were to be released from jail.

“I think there’s a likelihood he’ll be released and he will have a lot of conditions of his release,” she told us at the time. “I think he’ll be on a GPS. He’ll probably be on house arrest, having to do school at home.”

Last Friday, KJ, who is being held behind bars at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, was granted bond — though his release date has yet to be announced. His bond was set at $200,000.

During the bond hearing, prosecutors claimed there were multiple videos of KJ having sex with an underage family member found on his cellphone.

KJ had allegedly been under court supervision since October 2025 following the alleged incident with the family member, which prosecutors said was reported in April 2023.

Earlier this month, KJ was formally indicted on charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment and three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16 stemming from an alleged incident in Alpharetta, Georgia, earlier this year.

The high school student was arrested on Aug. 17 after a female classmate accused him of sexually assaulting her in a co-ed sauna at the Life Time fitness center on April 23.

The alleged victim claimed to investigators that KJ forced himself on her after she told him no, according to court docs.

Per the filing, KJ allegedly made “multiple” attempts to have “sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants.” She also accused him of forcing oral sex and digitally penetrating her vagina.

KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, told Page Six in a statement that his client is “100% innocent” and claimed to have evidence to prove it.

Zolciak has also defended her son, saying in a statement via her rep in August: “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct.”

She added, “We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 48, and her estranged husband, 41, both attended his bond hearing on Sept. 11 — though they arrived separately and didn’t interact.

However, Zolciak and the former football player were seen attending church together two days after the hearing.
