Jennifer Lawrence threatens to quit Instagram if fans say ‘anything negative’ — one day after joining the platform

May the odds be ever in her favor.

Jennifer Lawrence finally joined Instagram — but the “Hunger Games” alum may not be sticking around if fans have “anything negative” to say.

“So yeah, I’m giving it a shot,” Lawrence, 36, said in her debut post on the social media platform. “And if anyone says anything negative, I will quit immediately. No questions asked. If anyone thinks something mean, I’ll know. I’ll know, and I’ll quit.”

The Oscar winner issued the threat while lounging in bed in a white satin robe.

She later took to her Instagram Stories — for the first time — to warn followers that “any mean or aggressive comments” could negatively affect “the baby.”

“It’s me. I’m the baby,” Lawrence quipped.

Her account went live Wednesday with an unexpected twist. Instead of making her username “@jenniferlawrence,” she was forced to use “@jlaw” because, as her bio explained, the previous one “was taken.”

As for her profile photo, the “No Hard Feelings” actress used one where she appeared to be getting her hair color retouched while sipping on a drink and holding her phone.

Before opening her official Instagram account, Lawrence previously admitted to InStyle magazine that she had been using a secret profile.

“I’m on it, but I’m a voyeur. I watch, I don’t speak,” she told the outlet in 2018, per Time.

“There is always so much backlash, so many people are listening and paying attention, and they have so many opinions about absolutely everything,” Lawrence continued. “I really don’t want to welcome that unless it’s absolutely necessary. I don’t want to put myself out there for no reason.

“Unless I’m promoting something or something really burns my onions, you won’t hear from me,” she concluded.

The “X-Men” star had similar feelings about social media in 2014, when she recalled on BBC Radio 1 how much “the internet has scorned [her]” and why she had no interest in joining Twitter.

“I’m not very good on [the] phone or [with] technology,” she said, according to E! News. “I cannot really keep up with emails, so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me.”

At the time, she also warned fans, “If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not.”

Lawrence most recently made headlines after coming clean to Vogue about the cosmetic treatments she doesn’t enjoy.

“I hate getting my hair colored. I also hate going to the nail salon,” she said earlier this month. “I saw a tweet that was like, ‘It’s like going to the hand dentist.’ It’s not relaxing. It’s not fun. It’s really, really boring. It takes so long.”

While Lawrence said she gets “baby Botox,” she admitted she’s “really nervous” about more invasive procedures like fat transfers.

“I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about that,” she said. “I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
