Kelly Osbourne candidly revealed she wore wigs to help conceal her “scary” weight loss following the heartbreaking death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
“I looked like the f–king Crypt Keeper,” the TV personality told the Daily Mail on Sunday.
“I said, ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this,’” she recalled. “My spine -– you could see every single bone.”
Reflecting on Ozzy’s death at the age of 76 in July 2025, Kelly, 41, admitted she was blinded by what “other people saw.”
“I was in so much pain,” the “Fashion Police” alum said. “I just saw a broken person.”
She recalled attending the 2026 Grammy Awards in February, where Ozzy was honored with a live performance of Black Sabbath’s 1970s hit “War Pigs.”
At the time, Kelly opted to wear a wig to hide her weight loss and to avoid taking attention away from the late musician.
“I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were,” the “So Undercover” star said.
Speaking about her stylists, she said, “They knew I was going through something. So, we were trying to find clothes to not make me look skinnier.”
“I was scared,” Kelly told the outlet. “I wanted to be there to support my mum and to pay tribute to my father’s legacy. But in all honesty, when I reflect on it, I don’t think I should have gone. I wasn’t very well.”
The actress recalled becoming so overwhelmed by grief that it led to nausea, stating, “You’re filled with so much pain that the feeling of hunger can’t even pop up.”
Kelly vulnerably addressed her struggle days after sharing that she was “getting a lot better” and receiving the help and support she needed.
“Because what you’ll find when you’re grieving is that people don’t know how to handle it, and you do lose a lot of friends. But the ones who stick around are the real ones,” she told Hello! magazine last month.
Earlier this year, Kelly also blasted “disgusting” trolls for subjecting her to “abuse” and scrutiny over her appearance.
Aside from mourning the death of her father, Kelly also separated from her fiancé, Sid Wilson, in March.
She and the Slipknot member share a 3-year-old son, Sidney.
