Standout rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo return as do stars Malik Nabers, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns. They’re joined by flashy offseason acquisitions Tremaine Edmunds, Darnell Mooney, Isaiah Likely, Patrick Ricard and Greg Newsome II.
Elsewhere, No. 5 draft pick Arvell Reese has “flashed tantalizing potential” in training camp according to Roundtable and pundits from Locked On NFL think former Giants icon Odell Beckham Jr. “can make an impact.”
Yet, the real difference maker is Harbaugh, who The Post’s Steve Serby says “raises the standard of everyone in the franchise…underachieving players begin achieving. Good players have a chance to become great players. Every player becomes the best version of himself.”
Will fans see this revitalized energy from a team that went 4-13 in Week 1 against the Cowboys?
Only time will tell — as of now, oddsmakers give Dak Prescott and America’s Team a 2.5 to 3-point advantage although AZ Central predicts “Jaxson Dart will come up with some big plays to help the Giants get the upset win at home” — but we do know the best way to find out is live in the Meadowlands.
