Jax Taylor filed a restraining order against his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, claiming that she cost him $175,000 in a major TV comeback.
According to the filing obtained by Page Six, the “Valley” star alleged that Cartwright spread lies about him online and contacted potential employers to sabotage brand deals and contracts.
Taylor highlighted that he was scheduled to appear on the Fox competition series “Special Forces” after being hired in April.
However, he was later axed from the show days before he was scheduled to film, learning that Cartwright allegedly contacted the network and condemned them for “giving a platform to an abuser.”
According to Taylor, Cartwright also alleged that she would evoke public consequences if Fox moved forward with her ex as a contestant.
Cartwright notably starred on Season 4 of “Special Forces” in 2025, but quit on day one after Taylor told her she was “not going to make it far,” per Deadline.
Viewers watched as the “Vanderpump Rules” alum struggled to make it through the tasks, while carrying heavy items in the heat of Morocco. She finally threw in the towel, telling one coach, “I can’t. I’m going to throw up. I’m really sorry.”
Per the new court filing, Taylor claimed that since he lost his role on the series, he “has no employment and no employment prospects,” alleging that his “sole regular income” is $5,000-per-month in a deal set to expire in November.
“His savings are rapidly diminishing,” the filing reads. “His mental and emotional calm, rebuilt at great personal cost through recovery, has been destroyed.”
Per the filing, Taylor also claims that his ex used electronic technologies — including her podcast, Instagram and national TV— “to demean and humiliate” him in ways “she knew he would see.”
Additionally, Taylor accused Cartwright of being “unstable” and an “alcoholic.”
He also alleged, per the filing, that she physically attacked him “on numerous occasions, including slapping him, pushing him, throwing objects and food at him and calling him profanities in front of their son.” The exes were together from 2015 to 2024 and share one child: son Cruz, 5.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Cartwright and “Special Forces” for comment.
Cartwright, meanwhile, was granted a temporary restrainingorder against Taylor last week, claiming that she was allegedly abused by the latter for years.
The Bravolebrity alleged that her estranged husband once threatened to “gut [her] like a f–king fish” and “f–king kill” her. She also alleged that she had suffered previous injuries after he threw furniture at her.
According to the court documents, she claimed to be a victim of “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse.”
Cartwright, however, was denied sole custody of their son after reaching a custody agreement last month. Taylor was ordered to remain 100 feet away from his ex.
Since splitting, Taylor has taken “full responsibility” for his behavior toward Cartwright in 2024, per his Instagram Stories on Friday.
However, he “strongly” denied some of the allegations against him, pledging to provide the “full story, context and evidence” in court.
In the past, Taylor admitted to “seeing red”and throwing furniture at Cartwright before he was enrolled in a mental health center, where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, narcissistic personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
