President Donald Trump, 80, revealed an arm covered in bruises while he was out on the golf course Sunday.
Trump’s bruised arm stunned viewers who note the elderly president can frequently be seen with a bruise on his hand, but not often above the wrist.
“Trump is known for suspicious bruising, usually it’s the president’s hands—not arm—which draw attention,” wrote the Daily Beast’s Katie Francis. “His mysterious bruising has spread.”
Francis also reported scrapes and band-aids on Trump’s fingers in images of him “slouched” in a golf cart.
Trump was attending the LIV Golf New York tournament at his course in Bedminster, New Jersey — which rankled with political commentator Brian Krassenstein.
“What the heck is all that?” Krassenstein asked, zooming in on swollen veins in Trump’s hands. “And why is he golfing while we are at war and can’t afford groceries?”
Trump’s oft-spotted hand spots have been repeatedly brushed off by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt who tried to blame frequent hand-shaking until viewers found a bruise on his left, the Beast reported.
The president then blamed a large daily dose of aspirin to thin his blood for “chronic venous insufficiency,” according to the report.
