Trump shields accused child-groper and those who hurl racist slurs at kids: Investigation

A Texas school principal accused of touching cheerleaders’ chests found protection from an unlikely source; President Donald Trump, a new report revealed Sunday.

The unnamed principal, under federal investigation for sexual harassment, was not the only accused person to escape consequences because of Trump — people who hurled racist insults at children were spared, too, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

“Instead of resolving such investigations, the Trump administration indefinitely froze them,” eight anonymous sources told the Washington Post. “The administration gutted the Office for Civil Rights and prioritized investigations into transgender athletes and other conservative priorities.”

The Post’s in-depth investigation reveals a horror house of racist and sexual abuse claims that might have been resolved had not the Trump administration issued a new directive to the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights.

In the 18 months since Trump reassumed office, only three settlements have been reached in thousands of pending investigations, the Washington Post reported.

In 2024, when President Joe Biden was in the White House, the office completed 72 settlements; 25 agreements linked to racial harassment and 47 linked to sexual harassment or violence.

The cases involve children who say they were terrorized at schools that do little or nothing to protect them.

A Texas cheerleader accused her principal of making her uncomfortable with his touches, commenting on her cheerleading uniform, and chest-bumping another cheerleader during a game.

A male student in Arizona was accused of climbing over a wall to film his female classmates in the bathroom — then shared those images without their consent.

In Grand Junction, Colorado, two students of Middle Eastern descent said they were bullied on the playground, in the hallways and in bathrooms by students who called them “camel humpers” and “terrorists.”

The only Black girl in the fifth grade at Chesaning Middle School in Michigan said her fellow students called her “monkey,” the n-word and “slave.”

They told her that her skin was “burnt like a piece of chicken.”

“Go get digging,” one boy told her. “I need some cotton.”
