Josh finally seriously confronted Catie for brazenly attempting to make out with multiple guysin front of his face on Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé.”
During last week’s episode, Catie got drunk at her birthday party and aggressively tried to kiss multiple male friends, who all turned her down. Josh awkwardly watched and it got to the point that one of her friends, Mark, took him aside to tell him that he needed to stand up for himself and give Catie “tough love.”
Sunday’s episode of the TLC reality show showed the aftermath of the disastrous party, with Catie throwing up in the bathroom and telling Josh she didn’t remember anything. Josh informed her that she was “literally trying to make out with anything that moves.”
Catie was mortified and apologized, but Josh noted that she’s already said sorry multiple times in the past for her habit of wanting to make out with people despite having a fiancé — which she’s blamed on having obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) — when she’s drunk.
Josh told her, “Sorry stops meaning anything after a while. You hear enough sorries and you want to see action.”
Josh asked his fiancée what she thinks about when she tries to kiss other people, despite having a partner who loves her.
She replied, “I think, just, I can love you but also want to kiss everyone else.”
The conversation took a darker turn when Josh pointed out to Catie that her friends didn’t want to kiss her, and cameras cut to Mark actively pushing her face away from him. When Catie worried about crossing Mark’s boundaries, Josh pointed out that she was crossing his.
Catie then wondered if everyone was “uncomfortable” and if they’d ever hang out with her again. She tearfully revealed to cameras that she lost friends in the past for her actions while drinking.
“I’m really ashamed about it and it’s hard to talk about,” she reflected.
“I will be sad if anyone abandons me,” she continued, breaking down in tears. “I worry all the time that I’ll lose Josh, and I’m worried I’ll push them away by my actions.”
Josh told Catie that he wanted her to seriously think about what she wants before they get married in 90 days.
“I want to see that you really know what that means and that you see the commitment I’m making to you. I want to feel it in return,” he stressed. “And it’s kind of up to you to figure out how to do that.”
Josh told cameras he wasn’t going to take this type of behavior from Catie again, and seriously considered going back to the UK.
“I love Catie and that that’s why it’s so difficult to understand what’s going on,” he mused. “Like it seems like I either need to tolerate this in order to love her or or I walk away.”
“It really is up to her to recognize what she wants and if she can be in this relationship, because right now it doesn’t look like she can,” he added.
