Megyn Kelly spent the better part of a year positioning herself as one of the loudest cheerleaders for the Make America Healthy Again movement. She showed up at RFK Jr.’s confirmation hearing. She hosted pro-MAHA guests on her podcast week after week. She called his Senate confirmation “monumental” and said she felt “so hopeful” about the whole thing. Now, she’s ready to bury it based on a report.
On June 12, Robert W. Malone posted what he called a “very active rumor” that Kennedy would be leaving HHS after July 4th, with Dr. Oz set to head the transition team. Within hours, Kelly shared it with six words: “If true, MAHA is officially dead.”
That “if true” is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
HHS called the claim “utterly false” the same day. Malone himself acknowledged it was still just a rumor, though he wasn’t backing down entirely. So far, Kennedy remains HHS Secretary. The whole thing remains unverified. And yet Kelly was ready to lash out.
The response from the MAHA side wasn’t positive.
“It’s not true you utter fraud,” wrote the Catturd account well-known in various conservative circles.
Self-identified Republican influencer Brittany Rae chimed in, “Still waiting on Kash to be fired over the Atlantic article LMAO debunked.”
The popular A Conservative Dad account said, “Lie Lie Lies.”
