Cassie Ventura flees US with no intention to return after $20 million payday from Diddy legal drama

Cassie Ventura has left the US and has no intentions of returning to the country, according to new court documents.

The “Long Way 2 Go” hitmaker filed an official declaration dated May 1 as part of her ongoing lawsuit against male sex worker Clayton Howard, where she states: “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States,” reports TMZ.

Reps for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

It remains unclear as to where Ventura has settled down or when she made the move, but the timing comes nearly a year after the singer testified in her ex Sean “Diddy” Combs’ racketeering and sex trafficking case.

As part of the federal criminal trial — which took place in New York — she also submitted a statement saying she is a “citizen of the United States” and is “not a resident of the state of California.”

While giving her testimony against Combs, Ventura told the jury of the alleged years of abuse she suffered during her relationship with him, which lasted from 2007 until 2018.

She also revealed that she received $20 million in settlement money from “Sean and his companies” after she filed a bombshell lawsuit against him in 2023, accusing him of raping her, physically abusing her and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes.

Combs was ultimately found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — and acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering.

After the verdict was announced, Ventura’s attorney Doug Widor released a statement on her behalf commending his client for her “courage.”

“This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023,” Widor said in his remarks.

“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” he continued.

As Page Six previously reported, Howard, one of the male escorts prosecutors claim Combs hired, filed a lawsuit against the rapper and Ventura on July 3, 2025.

He claims in his suit that Ventura gave him a sexually transmitted disease, and that she got an abortion without telling him after he got her pregnant.

He also accuses Ventura of manipulating him into taking ecstasy and having unprotected sex. He also claims she forced him to masturbate for extended periods of time, often leading to injury.

Howard alleged that he sustained physical and psychological injuries from the alleged trauma plus lost wages and benefits, medical expenses, pain and suffering, emotional distress and mental anguish, plus loss of enjoyment of life.
