Brandi Glanville thinks she has a ‘sexually transmitted ringworm’ in her throat amid ongoing health issues

Brandi Glanville revealed that she might have contracted ringworm through oral sex.

“I have a quick question. Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?” Glanville asked guest Lisa Ann on Thursday’s episode of her “Brandi Unfiltered” podcast. “I feel like I have it … in my throat.”

Ringworm is a fungal infection that affects the hair, skin or nails, per the CDC. It can spread through skin-to-skin or sexual contact. These infections can be “severe and difficult to treat.”

“It’s one of these things that most people don’t know what to look for,” Ann — who is an author and retired American pornographic actress — alleged.

“I feel like I have it … in my throat,” the Bravo alum explained on her podcast.

“We had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there’s good light and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it’s incredibly contagious.”

Glanville thinks she contracted ringworm from dating “somebody in that industry.”

“He would only, you know, my face because he didn’t want to get me pregnant,” she shared about the mystery man. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I’m like, ‘OK, whatever, I’m not going to correct you.’”

“They can apparently … burrow in, like, if it’s in your throat,” Glanville described. “If it’s in your throat, they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.”

“And in my mouth in all that, [then] my girlfriend told me about it yesterday,” Glanville continued. “I knew nothing about it.”

The reality star explained that after doctors ruled out other common sexually transmitted diseases, she started researching what else it could be.

However, the Bravo alum is no stranger to health issues, after having dealt with various mysterious illnesses in recent times.

In February, Glanville found out the culprit behind her years-long facial paralysis.

She explained that her breast implants caused the disfiguration, which led to her losing several teeth.

While on a podcast, Glanville revealed that doctors saw that the implant in her right breast had ruptured and leaked during a sonogram. That led to the silicone to migrate into her lymph nodes.

She ended up spending $200,000 to find out the cause of her ailment.

Just last month, Glanville was rushed to urgent care after getting a garlic clove stuck in her ear.

The TV personality caught a cold and opted to use a garlic clove to help relive congestion.

“On Easter, I didn’t do anything because of the garlic in my ear,” she said on her podcast about the viral TikTok trend.

“I was trying to get it out,” Glanville insisted.

As she put it, “It really went down further and I had to go to urgent care the next day and get it taken out.”
